Who's behind Copa Rio Lux

If you've ever dreamed of living in Rio, we might have more in common than you'd think. It was always my dream too.

It wasn't about a weekend away or a holiday. I wanted to wake up with the light coming through the window, walk to the beach before coffee, feel the sea breeze on my face and have the feeling of belonging to this city. And I got to live that.

For five years, Rio was my home. That's when I discovered that the real essence of the city isn't only in the postcard sights. It's in the tree-lined streets where time seems to slow down, the hidden cafés almost no one knows, the unhurried walk to the beach and that inexplicable sense of freedom only Rio can give.

When the chance came to buy an apartment in Copacabana, I didn't set out to create just another Airbnb. I wanted to create the place I'd want to stay in myself.

A place where, the moment you open the door, you feel you made the right choice. Where every detail was thought through so you don't feel merely hosted, but at home.

That's how Copa Rio Lux was born. A boutique studio on one of the quietest streets in Copacabana, 8 minutes from the beach and 3 from the metro. A place for those who want to live Rio, not just visit it.
